To Whom It May Concern;

I am writing to express my support for Robert G. Schmidt as an honest American Patriot I have known for several years.

 Last year Robert was engaged in what he believed to be a lawful business, and was supporting the local economy by providing jobs and purchasing vehicles, products and services from local businesses.

 He was providing sick and dying people with medicine grown here in California and supported a regulatory environment to do so. I know for a fact he was engaged in a lengthy licensing process with the DEA, who had accepted his registration fee. I know he was working hard to comply with every regulation he could identify, and was working with local authorities to provide a safe, legal supply of marijuana to be used as medicine only by people that had legitimate recommendations from Doctors.

 I am convinced Robert believed he was not only within the law, but that he was providing a vital community service and helping people. It seems completely unfair that he be punished for his acts of compassion for the sick and dying.

 I know Robert to be an honest, hard working asset to the community, and sincerely hope he will be allowed to remain that way.

 I am available to testify as needed or for any other good purpose on Robert’s behalf.
